I was just curious to know if anyone likes this film besides me...

I like it very much, but some people just see it as a straight rip off of Friday the 13th

But anyways I just wanna know if other people like it or what they think of it....BTW, Over here in the U.K. it was very hard to find

Yeah, it's a good movie. It is in dire need of a quality dvd release. The VHS looks better than the dvd, and that's saying something. I think there are a lot of people here who like it as well.

Always had a fondness for this one. There was a certain mean quality to it. One of my childhood favorites that desperately needs a DVD release.

Had they upped the body count a bit more, this film would be a near-perfect chiller!

There are too many junk threads on here lately. Why not do a search before starting a new one.I'm sure you will find more input that way.

It has a DVD release, I own it. It just has a very, very, very, very, very, very dark transfer.

    A proper DVD release then!:D

I had the VHS and that was not quite as dark as the VHS of "Humongous" but it was damn dark.

Humongous looks terrible on VHS, reminds me of how bad Prom Night used to look. As for The Final Terror, it was alright. A little lagging in parts, but far from a total disaster. If it got a PROPER DVD release, I'd definitely buy it. I used to have the one that's out now, but when I got an LCD HDTV the disc looked all the more worse and I chucked it.

Crazy how much care goes into color timing/grading or DI-ing of films these days... you wonder what the hell they were thinking back in the day when it came to home video...!

Yeah for real man. Home video has come SUCH a long way in only the past decade or so. (Color timing, OAR, director's cuts, extended cuts, HD, etc) It's amazing.
