Not a great movie. Not a good movie. But it is a more than acceptable way to waste an hour and a half if you are looking for a fun B-movie.

It seems like the filmmakers actually cared about making a decent B-movie and respected the process. This shows on screen and makes all the difference.

No Oscar nods on the way for this cast but they all do their best, have talent and take the material seriously.

Tiffany Shepis, Nectar Rose and Brooke Burke (yes, that Brooke Burke) provide the eye candy.

And Brad Dourif provides a wild, over the top turn as the villain.

And this movie was shot on film!

Overall a nice little production for a low budget B-movie horror film. Recommended if you are looking for fun and not expecting too much.

1.85:1 widescreen even! Sucks that MTI didn't give this the 16:9 treatment.
Another bad MTI example: The Bunker. Presented in non-anamorphic widescreen while the included Theatrical Trailer is 16:9 ... and looked much better than the actual film!
Anyhoo, I really like The Hazing. I watched this the night before Halloween and enjoyed it. One of the better DTV releases this year for sure.
