I'm seeing it in a few weeks or so here in Toronto at Midnight Madness. Right excited I is.

 

i want to see this but it sure as hell wont be playing in my area- hopefully an r1 dvd release will be coming soon????

It was only released theatrically in Korea recently, so we're still a couple months from a DVD release.

I definitely can see it making an art house run early next year, so don't give up hope on seeing it in a theater. Magnolia Pictures has domestic distribution from what I understand.

 

I hear that there will be an UK release in Oct 10th.

Holy shit... this is what a monster movie should be! Its got action (like 10 minutes in... insane!) its got the perfect blend of comedy too... emotional kicks... scary bits... Great Characters! The creature is one of the best creatures I have ever seen in a film... this thing jumps, climbs, swims... swallows people whole... Its got alot of socio-political stuff going on too... Director Bong Joon-Ho made an appearance as well and I stayed for the Q&A after the film... Man... I need to see this again. 10/10

The Host is currently scheduled for release in UK Cinemas on 10th November 2006.

 

At kfccinema.com, it said the Hong Kong DVD is scheduled for release on December 1st... at yesasia.com... but I couldn't find it listed there for pre-order or any announcement rather when I checked...
