Not sure if anyone is interested or not, but in Japan the extended edition was released but still had German text on the note and book, also there were some other bad image issues, well here is our 100% English friendly version screens and we fixed the image issues, as I said this is the extended, we will have a new International version as well, this is a 2-disc project.

Is this released or you mean you're still working on it?

Great movie. Great book, too. Wonderful audiobook recently released. One thing the book got wrong - Fantastica. Awful name. I know it's a translation but damn that is one thing the movie nailed. Fantasia, baby!

I assume the DNR issues that plague the Extended edition will still be there? I have the Japanese set, but DNR is on the extended German Blu-ray also.

I still think the Dutch Blu-ray has the best A/V quality as far as the International version goes. It blows away the crappy Warner Blu-rays.

Well those screens above are from our Extended version, how do they look to you, to us they look a lot better then the Japanese BD, it is way more pleasing to watch, and we even took out ALL the German writing, no more German book or note, we also fixed some other issues.

The Dutch BD is our base for the International version, sorry it took me so long to answer I kept checking in on this thread and there were no responses lol, I was thinking there was zero interest here.

We have a minor hiccup on the International version and we are fixing it right now, but the Extended is finished, I will post screens from the International when it is fixed if there is interest.

Here is our cover, we have also alternate disc arts to these and there is inside art as well.

That Dutch BD is 7 years old - has there been another Dutch BD reissued since then? I need the best possible version of both cuts but I don't want to buy an old release unless it's absolutely better than anything out now.

Thanks. I'll have to track it down. Right now there's just one copy for sale on ebay for 20 Euros - not sure if I want to spring for it at that price..

To be honest if you do not know by now then these projects we do will probably be of zero interest to you.

    Thanks

    Here is the International version,

By the way this is just a simple 2-disc Set, 100% English friendly Extended with the International thrown in, both video's are tweaked/fixed, nothing is like the retail BD, the Extended has DTS-HD MA 5.1 and the International has DTS 5.1, I have read that the DTS-HD MA 5.1 for the International versions are flawed badly and most, if not all, prefer the Dutch DTS 5.1 track, no subs, no extras, but they do have top and pop up menu's with audio and we do have custom art with inside art as well and an inside the case goodie again, that's how we roll lol.

I guess I missed out on getting one of these. I never knew there was a different version. This movie is scary to watch when you are young. Death, world destruction, giant killer statues, that wolf beast chasing the main character though the movie.
