hahahahaha. Just like the journalists in my head.
I'm positive you have a clear picture of'em McChrist. The worst kind of people that ever walked this earth.
I doubt most of us will get a chance to actually see it in 3D. Hopefully it will play at the Toronto Film fest.
Color me Excited!!!!!!:banana::banana::banana:
Interesting... This is going to be like a lab experiment, the end result will either fizzle or explode.
THAT would be awesome. Although I am still scared about this film being bad, 3D will maybe help.
I actually enjoyed Mother of Tears but I'm not so sure about this one, especially the 3D. I have a feeling it will be badly done with no budget. That said, it could turn out to all be really cool as well. I'm definitely interested to see how he handles it all and his take on the Dracula mythos.
Don?t get me wrong... I was not saying that like it was a bad thing, was just mentioning the obvious. I?m a huge fan of both Dario and Asia.
Yeah, I'm in. Would love Argento in 3D, let alone filming Dracula.
Fuck it, I'd say Do You Like Hitchcock was his last half decent flick since Stendhal.
I eat up anything Dracula with a spoon so this gets me excited. We'll see how it turns out, although I will say that the cards are stacked against Argento given his track record over the past fifteen years. As long as it's not Dracula 2000 all over again, I won't despise it.
I hate to say this, but if this will be in 3D, I'm almost certain Argento will use it in the old-fashioned gimmicky way - having stuff 'leap out' of the screen for no other reason than to 'wow' the audience.
I don't think he's really had his heart in anything he's done in the last few years, so I'm just worried what's going to happen when he tries 3D. I hope he's passionate about it, because, frankly, we haven't seen passionate Argento films since the 90s.
It's been many years since Dario has made a film I enjoyed. A change of pace is a good idea and I'd be interested to see his take on Dracula. I just don't see why this needs to be in 3-D. It's a tired gimmick already or maybe I'm just tired? It's been a long week. :sleepy:
I'll watch anything that Dario does! I really liked his last 2!
Here's Argento talking about the movie. After watching the video I find myself with the same pessimistic expectations for this movie but I'll still give it a go...
For all you pessimists, this is going to be you some day:
"Worst Dracula ever! I will only see in the theatre six more times!"
Impossible. No way we'll see Argento's recent flick in theaters.
I'd never lug around a laptop like that, not when my phone has a qwerty keypad.
Rutger Hauer has been cast as Van Helsing.
That could be cool. I've always been a Hauer fan.
I've hated Argento's last 3 films so I've given up on the guy. But if this gets good reviews I'll check it out.
