    From Scorpion Releasing via Facebook:

If you are seeing them, you are seeing ghosts. Maybe so, but in 1080p, as we present Chuck Norris' ninja kicking epic THE OCTAGON on BluRay. And first time the title is available in 16x9 here in America. More details to follow, but expect it to be released later this year, as we received the HD file of the film just now, so stay tuned.

Have the Anchor Bay UK blu and if it is the same transfer it´s very good indeed.

Lets see if Scorpion releases some extras.

I have the Anchor Bay UK Blu-ray also, which is a solid release, but will be interested to see if they include any new extras.

One of Chuck's best, love all those whispering ninjas! Great to see it in good hands.

I must have watched this hundreds of times with my parents. My folks are gung ho into Ninja films and I do recall this one!! Will be interesting to see how the transfer measures up.

Sorry, but this one is a snooze fest. Chuck's whisperings monologues are funny at first, but then get rather annoying as nothing much else happens until the end.

I am definitely up for The Octagon. Safe bet that eventually Silent Rage and Invasion U.S.A. will also make it to Blu-ray.

They say the quickest way to a man's heart is with Chuck Norris' fist, so Scorpion Releasing give it a shot with their hi-def issue of Eric Karson's THE OCTAGON (1980)! Vowing to never fight again after killing an opponent in the ring, former Karate champ Chuck Norris is trying to move on with his life by seducing ballerinas and palling around with his best bud, A.J.. However, when his girlfriend's house gets swarmed by ninja, that past oath gets roundhouse kicked out the window, much to the disbelief of his omnipresent internal monologue: "Ninja?! They can't exist!" But they do, and they're being trained at a South American terrorist camp in a nonsensical plot for world domination. Or something. Oh, and Lee Van Cleef shows up as a mercenary, and says things like, "If you saw ninjas, you've seen ghosts." It all comes to a head at the titular polygon. No word on extras yet, but come on, it's Chuck Norris vs. Ninjas on blu-ray.

I liked this film when I saw it theatrically but seeing it years later it just didn't hold up.

I love Norris and all but I found this one to be terribly boring.
