I ordered two pcs. from DVD Pacific and the shipment came today along with three BU giallos, just at their official release date. God bless 'em.

The colors of this Grindhouse release are just gorgeous. In my opinion this is the best presentation of the film I've ever seen. Too bad Last Road to Hell is incomplete so I have to keep EC ultrabit also. I'm going to sell my Italian release but I took couple of shots of all three just to compare their picture quality.

This is the same frame (1st of the shot). Both EC and Italian has a vertical white line in the middle of the frame. Somebody may think that Grindhouse comes with too much green tint, but I think it's much better than pale, almost b&w colors of the two other releases. There's no green tint at all in the first half of the movie (see the skull cap above), only in the "lost reels".

crap, I just ordered a copy from Xploited in case my DDD order doesn't pan out. I hope atleast 1 of these ships. I'm not going to risk ending up with 3 copies of this by ordering at a third place.

if I end up with 2 I'll gladly sell one here.

It doesn't look like that on my TV. I think you need to collaborate your colors.

    I don't think so.

Do you mean the green tint?

It doesn't look so green on my TV either but when I play it with computer colors look like that. And I shouldn't correct them too much when the other two discs doesn't look green at all. I took captures from all three discs today and didn't change / adjust any colors between discs.

And like I said the city scenes and the first jungle scenes (with professor) doesn't look so green. And if you didn't get it, I like the Grindhouse pic.quality best of all these three releases anyway.

edit: And if you check the captures of DVD Maniacs review you can see clearly that the shots of the "lost reels" look very much more greenish than the rest of the captures.
