My copy shipped just now from DDD!
Hmm, I'm surprised Grindhouse isn't taking the same kind of beating that Shriek Show did for releasing interlaced transfers.
That's because most people haven't gotten theirs yet
Another reason is because the extras are damn good. So even if the transfer was fucked up. The extra's make up for it.
But, wouldn't pressing the off button for your progressive scan dvd player turn off that problem?
I checked Best Buy today and they didn't have it. Why am I not surprised? They've gotten really conservative over the last 2 years. I need to go to Borders.
The extras do sound freaking awesome
there website says that its not coming to stores. looks like one that will have to be ordered online or MSRP at the mall. there is no boarders around here, so i can say if its there or not.
I just checked my email and I now have a shipping confirmation on my Xploited order too. I guess it's official, I now have 2 copies.
yep the extras rock there is like 10-12 easter eggs also but you have too dig to find em all
easily has to be one of 2005 best dvd releases
Sorry didn't mean to post spoilers. I just wanted to know about the character of Mark and what happened to him.
Yes Borders does carry it in stores. That's where I got mone and they had 3 copies in store.
I watched my copy last night and the interlaced transfer posed no problems for me. If your progressive player is a decent one it should be able to deinterlace it just fine.
I've found 2 easter eggs so far and damned if I can find the other 5.
Mine's still on its way. Does anyone know how long UPS ground generally takes?
I just got me a copy at Borders as well. #01651 of 11,111.
Just got mine.
No. 2984 of 11,111!!!
Damn, I know know what I'm going to watch this Halloween.
So how's the custom packaging, guys? Is it easy enough to get the discs out without breaking them?
Well, When I got mine, disc one was loose and was moving about the dvd case.
But luckily, there were no scatrchs or marks at all.
Another thing is that when you open the inner case, it takes some thought on how to close, like every corner needs to be in proper place for you to hear the final click of the dvd case closing.
But yeah, I was easily able to get the discs out with no problem.
All in all, An orgasm of a disc.
I hate when the disc comes loose. I normally send the disc right back when that happens because it's usually scratched to shit. That's why I've recently been trying to avoid shopping on line whenever possible.
Exact same thing happened with my copy DeathDealer, thankfully there were no scratches on mine either. I also agree about shutting the case and having to have it perfectly aligned. I don't care for this design but the dvds are great themselves.
my disc was rolling around in the case when i went to borders, so i checked all the other copies they had and there was a disc loose in each of them. have to check it out tonight
