I watched some of Suspiria last night for the first time in a few years, and I was kind of bored. I think it may be his most overrated film...

I sometimes have that with movies.Mostly it depends on the moment, not the film.
Suspiria has its flaws but it's a great film nonetheless.

I was fortunate enough to meet Argento at a Weekend of Horrors conventions in the 90's. Had him sign this Italian Locandina poster.

Great poster and can't wait for the film. I liked Mother of Tears and hope it is a sign that Argento is back in form!

    Suspiria

Thanks for the offer but I am an avid collector of movie memorabilia. I find this forum is a nice way for me to share some of the posters/cards I've collected over the years.

I am not fan to much from Argento I am see the movies of Susperia, Phenomenon, Deep Red and Trauma. I think is Trauman is only one is good. Susperia is rainbow of bore for me and others films is not my atention because is not intrest to get me the story is wandered. Trauma is good for me because is story is focus and is also to be funny in the parts and when the girl is go and he is think she is drowning I almost cry for this. Very emotion. When is dvd of Trauma is come out I go one hour before open the store to wait to get and I am happy in this. Only disapoint becuase I want more extra with interview of Asia because I am effect from her in this film.

I see what you mean in the lack of focus.
The films you describe are all about imagery and the telling of stories through images/symbols.Many references to literature and fairytales, except for Trauma.

If you're a fan of Asia I'd say check out Stendhal Syndrome. You could watch The Card Player as well. That one is pretty focused too.

BrokeNads, where are you located? No offence but your writing reminds me of Manuel:
