I did see that available, although it kind of looks like one of those fly-by-night operations. Not quite like the two-disc editions of Gojira that have come out recently, although I could be wrong.

Even without the subtitles, the LD of Mothra is bad-ass. It's a gatefold cover, with many behind-the-scenes photos of the Mothra models they used.

Funny when watching it tonight, I realized that Mothra doesn't even show up (in moth form) till the final 15 minutes of the movie.

Nice line up. I've wanted to see Mad Magician before I buy it so I'll be seeing that one definitely.

I started planning my October schedule during the week of July 4th. When you're trying to watch a movie a day for a whole month I've found it helps to plan ahead.

Thanks for posting Shawn. To my eyes that looks like a big improvement--more relatively obscure flicks than they've shown for quite a while.

October can't get here soon enough.

Hey I wanted to thank you for posting this as well Shawn. TCM is one of the few stations left that even acknowledge Halloween anymore.

Love it....should have cable again by then, and maybe even get a DVR.

I love this movie and have been waiting years for them to air it again. As far as I know it's not available on DVD. Check it out. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Never heard of this, thanks for the recommendation. I just set my DVR.

Looks like they're airing Bloody Birthday and Poltergeist tonight at 2:30AM. And I recorded one called Hot Rods To Hell this morning.

I've just heard Dish Network has dropped TCM, along with Cartoon Network, Boomerang, CNN among others. TimeWarner Communications has started a website: http://www.savemyshows.com.

Man that sucks, TCM is one of the few channels I actually watch on cable. Everything else is garbage I keep on in the background.

TCM was/is one of my favorite channels, too. I have DISH because this new building I live in was never set up for cable. Everyone has satellite dishes. I love DISH but this was a real kick in the balls because I love vintage films in their original presentation (complete with unsquished and un-rushed end credits).
*Gah* still pissed OFF about losing TCM.

The night they played Little Darlings and Modern Girls back to back in HD was pretty much the greatest thing that's ever happened in television history.
