Yeah. Reprinting discs isn't new -- the Lionsgate re-releases of Boy Meets World was identical to the Disney OOP releases -- disc artwork, subtitles, and even cover artwork.

Bummer that there's no Blu-ray counterparts listed. I'd love the three Halloween's Echo Bridge distributes.

Echo Bridge specializes in cheap DVD releases. I don't think they've done Blu-ray releases, it's probably way out of their price range. (And the quality of their movies don't warrant a Blu upgrade.)

I've checked their home entertainment website, their distribution partnership with Miramax has a few of the titles' covers -- which look like repackaging the original discs.

Well it does say on Echo Bridge's site "via DVD and Blu-ray" so I would expect to see them release at least some of the Miramax catalog on blu-ray, regardless of the quality.

I believe they release Asylum movies on blu-ray. I own Haunting Of Winchester House, and I believe they have released Mega-Piranha, I Am Omega, Mega Shark Vs Giant Octopus, etc.

They've actually released a lot of movies on BD. Here's a box set of 20 of them for starters: http://www.amazon.com/Blu-Cube-20-Pack-Bundle-299-99-Blu-ray/dp/B001F2U778

You're right about the last part though, their movies suck. Hopefully they'll do a better job with Blu-rays of the Halloween sequels. That's what I'm hoping for.

Edit: Sorry mclay18, didn't read the previous reply to your comment. Don't mean to come off as a prick.

I'm also a little interested in Children of the Corn II. Other than that, this whole things is a friggin' MESS.

I might check out that second Children of the Corn sequel just because Naomi Watts is in it. Is it decent? Does Watts get naked?

Naomi Watts was in the fourth Children Of The Corn movie and she does not get naked.

I really like the movie, in my opinion it is the best of the Children Of The Corn sequels. I'd say check it out.

After seeing it for the first time, I thought so too. But 2 things really, really hurt it. One is the unbelievably awful special effects. And two is the horrible actor playing the Isaac wannabe. Josiah?

I'd take parts 2, 5, or 7 over 4 now. Though I haven't rewatched them in at least 5 years. When part 2 finally comes out, I'll try to get all the sequels then.

Not a bad cover, but damn I liked the gang cover much better.

I will probably wait and see if they announce blu-rays, but how much are they at K-Mart?

the double feature and solo titles are $5 as well as dolph lundgren triple feature

the children of the corn triple feature i got was $7.50 i only got it for part 2 as that one is the only corn sequel i care about having on dvd the rest i got on vhs. also the hellraiser triple feature which i am tempted to buy just because part 3 might be the full unrated version is $7.50 also
