Has there been any discussion at all to release this series on DVD? There are some seriously good adaptations of weird fiction throughout and I am growing impatient.

I'm holding my breath waiting for this classic to come to DVD as well. I own all the VHS episodes that have been released over the years, but it's certainly a no-brainer that the entire catalogue is DVD worthy.

Classic episodes such as "The Hungry Glass", "Pigeons From Hell", and "The Return Of Andrew Bentley" have yet to be released to video and are guaranteed to give even the most seasoned horror veteran a shudder or two.

We've recently seen a DVD release of another classic spook series, "One Step Beyond", hosted by John Newland. This baby will give many the shivers as well. I pray "Thriller" isn't far behind and given it's rightful due.

Saw many of these a few years back when our local horror host,DR. MADBLOOD,was running episodes of the series instead of films. The William Shatner episode THE GRIM REAPER was quite creepy.

Love this show as it's one of the best horror anthology shows ever. I used to have 6 of the episodes on videotape. That might have been all that Universal issued back in the day. The Grim Reaper was great with a young William Shatner and a creepy as hell painting. The Incredible Doktor Markesan starring Karloff in the title role was a personal favorite in the mad scientist category. Another classic episode was Masquerade with John Carradine, Elizabeth Montgomery, and Tom Poston.

Thriller is long overdue for a dvd release!

They've also posted the cover art. Price is a bit more than I was imagining, I will probably hold off for a sale.

Much as I like the idea of all 67 episodes packaged into a single release, $150.00 feels more like an investment than a routine purchase. No pre-order for me either. I will wait for a sale.

I don't mind the price. Chances are someone will sell this set for less. I'd rather buy the entire series at once than piecemeal. I havent' seen too many episodes, but this will be a must buy.

I'm really stoked about this. I was spooked the sell off of Image would impact it's release.

Sure it's a bit expensive, but they could have broken it up into smaller sets and milked it for even more, IMO.

Deal of the day at Amazon!

Amazon has a special one day sale for "Thriller" today with a huge discount. Just for today its sold for $55! :) Hurry while it lasts! I guess by tommorow its set back to ยง100 which is the going price most places on the net. I made an order, but the damn import taxes and all is killing the discount for me meaning the total price will almost be the same as getting it from amazon markedplace for $100.:(
