He really likes movies. I was shocked by all the various masks, statues, figures, posters, and other movie items during the tour. I was listing more movies to watch that I haven't seen before.

The home tour part starts at 24:15.

They have a good channel too. I saved a bunch of their videos to watch during the October month.

Yeah I watched that the other day. His home is crazy, more like a museum than a space that you could actually live and relax in. Each to their own I suppose.

I'm trying to remember, maybe it's an extra on The Document of the Dead Blu-ray, but he's done a similar tour of his house in the 90's around Two Evil Eye's time frame.

    He's got a new book out: https://aminkpublishing.com/shop/ols/products/savini-limited-first-edition

And a new lil interview too: https://www.independent.co.uk/arts-...awn-of-the-dead-friday-the-13th-a9646331.html

Coincidentally last week my Mom asked me, "Do you know Tom Savini?" Apparently one of her friends took make up classes with him and was an extra in Martin then a zombie in Dawn of the Dead! I asked her to find our where in the films could she be seen. Too cool.

Yeah I was feeling kinda claustrophobic just watching the video. I wouldn't like the job of dusting all that shit, haha. An incredible collection though.

Some of the other videos on that channel touring around the Night/Dawn/Day shooting locations were cool too, thanks for the link.

When you have that much it's probably difficult to avoid the museum look. I did like his stairways and that floor with the large billboard that was too big to fit on the wall.

    Kinda agree about Jason.
I mean, if he didn’t really drown, why did he stay in the woods, until he became an adult, and not let his mother know about him still being alive? And if he really DID drown, and Jason at the end of part 1, actually wasn’t a dream, how the hell did he go from a kid, to an adult, within just a few months? There are so many plotholes, it’s retarded :D

    Though I enjoy part 2 and 4, so I’m a bit stupid ;)

But I enjoy The Burning even more, so I’m glad he made that instead :D

Yeah I don't think it was made to be plausible or make sense. They knew what the kids wanted and delivered and judging by its ongoing success and fan love they made the right choices.

I agree with you on 'the burning'. For me it's one of the best slashes out there.

I've seen The Burning twice I believe and still only remember the canoe scene and the girl with nice boobs. Other than that, I can't remember the movie at all.

And with Jason, I don't own Part 1. Part 2 is where the series starts for me.

This was from the October Viewing Thread, but I figured I'd reply here so as not to clutter. I actually went there (Wakulla Springs) back in February, right before the pandemic. I saw two pretty ugly looking snakes hanging out by the water, so I would hesitate to go for a swim there, but it is open to do so. Supposedly there are manatees too, but I didn't see any.

If you go in the little building where they sell the boat ride tickets, they have a Creature poster, as well as some info about the movies that have filmed there. There's even a fishtank with a little creature statue in the bottom.

The trip I was doing was all along the gulf from Naples to New Orleans, so I visited a few other famous horror locations along the way, including Eden Gardens State Park where they filmed the movie Frogs, the now empty and flooded boat ramp where they filmed Friday The 13th Part VII: The New Blood (the houses are gone and there's nothing to see here), and the famous Otis House from The Beyond and several other Italian horror films.

I got excited when you mentioned Friday the 13th Part 7 but that's too bad the the camp houses are gone. The Grimm Life couple went to The Beyond area as well but I only skimmed over that video. I thought they would tour more of the city but they focused on a church and the house area was closed I think.
