No release date yet; rumored March 2018.

Looks pretty faithful to the recent videogame reboots, which are a lot of fun. Nice to see puzzles, physics-defying leaps, and plenty of traps on display here. Cannot be any worse than the originals.

Yeah, they included a lot of moments from the 2013 reboot.
Though, it feels like it's gonna be a PG-13 movie?

Personally, the trailer for the superb video game looks better than the movie trailer.
As the this trailer has a much more violent and darker tone, and the set pieces looks more epic and impressive, and ironically more cinematic.

They could just have used Camilla Luddington, the games voice/motion capture actress, for the movie.
Especially since they, at least in the sequel, used a lot of her likeness to the game model.

    The movie might be fun.
But it's disappointing, that they don't seem to have kept the darker tone, and brutal Rambo violence, of the latest games.

Let's hope it's not as horribly cheesy, as the Jolie movies.

Well, Alicia Vikander won an Oscar, so the studio probably banked on that, man, rather than the admittedly pretty voice actor.
