As of this post, I have yet to see "Overlord" and "Suspiria" and considering the good things I've heard about both, I won't be surprised if they end up on my list, but as it stands:

    3) The Endless
    4) Unsane

    7) Apostle
    8) Halloween (reboot)
    9) Cam

As for the rest of the year, I still have a lot of catching up to do! but here goes nothing:

The best horror movie I saw all year in 2018, and probably in several years for that matter was Terrified. Creepiest fucking flick I've seen in a LONG time.

I also really enjoyed Halloween and Hereditary.

I had a lot of fun seeing Game Night in the theaters. Action Point and Tag were fun as well.

Was I, Tonya 2017 or 18? Either way that movie is awesome.

Good call on mentioning older films you caught for the first time last year. Quick list for me:

    Demon Wind
    The Bone Yard
    Ninja 3 the Domination
    Revenge of the Ninja
    Two Evil Eyes
    Abominable
    Body Melt
    The Burbs

And I'd say the biggest disappointment of mine last year in regards to watching older flicks for the first time was Motel Hell. I'd heard so many good things about that movie and was definitely let down. Boring as fuck in my opinion.

WORST!?!? I'm a fan of three of these movies (including your #1, but especially Electric Dreams, which I adore).

I honestly don't think I had a lot of first-time watches of older movies last year, and if I did they were mostly forgettable (Miss Leslie's Dolls, Nothing Underneath, etc). The exception being the rare blu-ray debut.

A few older movies I had missed that hit blu-ray last year that I loved:
    Grave Robbers from Vinegar Syndrome
    Scalpel from Arrow
Dear Dead Delilah from Vinegar Syndrome
    Zombie 3 from Severin

I also finally saw Superstition 2 aka Witch Story, which was really fun if unremarkable. There was also a surprisingly fun teen-friendly summer-camp zombie movie called Bunks (2013) that I watched on NetFlix. Directed by Tibor Takacs (The Gate, Gate 2, I Madman, etc).
