check this out My #1 is Melinda Clarke from Return of the Living Dead 3 http://www.horror-movies.ca/horror_11357.html
No Barbara Steele, Erika Blanc, Rosalba Neri or Asia Argento? Boo! At least Christina Lindberg made the list.
indeed. Jenny Wright (Mae from Near Dark) has my vote altho I've seen her in other stuff and she doesn't look nearly as good as in this movie.
Seconded! Edwige would probably be in my top 3. Christina Lindberg is an interesting choice I highly approve of, but not in the top 10. As much as I'm a fan of Ilsa, I wouldn't include Dyanne Thorne either. Too many women have been forgotten on this list.
A list dominated mostly by women better known for non-horror roles. Yawn. Didn't this guy ever catch sight of Barbara Crampton?
Barbara Crampton even did a horror themed spread for Playboy, gets my vote. They should have tossed a Hammer girl in, an obvious choice being Ingrid Pitt. Fay Wray's a no brainer from the golden age, plus her screams alone were used as stock ADR for decades in horror films. While both Christina Lindberg and Dyanne Thorne are highly regarded in the horror community, and I think Christina's one of the sexiest women to ever grace the screen, they didn't really do "horror" just exploitation. It's also a cheat to toss Janet Lee and Jamie Lee Curtis into one block, and then not even mention the fact that they starred together in The Fog. Talk about not knowing horror. Oh, and satans-sadists, this is probably the best thread to ask who's that in your avatar? I always pause whenever I'm scrolling down a thread and see her.
In the version of The Fog he is probably familiar with, neither one of them were in the film. A couple more candidates to add to the list of the forgotten, ones who can claim a number of horror movie titles on their resumes that is higher than the number of tits they have (yeah, a lot of ladies are hotter, but can they scream?): Brooke Adams Dee Wallace Linnea Quigley Karen Black
Ah, so she was. Didn't recognize her when she wasn't "skanked up". Looking back at the list, it comes as no shock why he picked her and used that particular picture - he admits to never having seen RotLD (that in itself instantly disqualifying him from saying a damn thing remotely passing as definitive on the subject of horror).
