Good news about Howling 2. I know it's terrible but it holds a lot of nostalgic value for me, plus I get a kick out of it. Hopefully there's some nice features on there too.

hot damn! to hell with Nightbreed, this is a release that cries out for limited deluxe edition treatment. the exclusive content would be a CD single of Steve Parsons' Howling. I'd pay $80 for that!

(seriously, the best version of that song that I can find has been the youtube music video)

great news, Howling II is my favorite of the series (followed by V, then III). Hopefully they get Steve Parsons involved in the extras.

This cracks me up. I am a huge Springsteen fan. Saw over 80 shows over the years, mostly in the Philly/NJ/NY area. Bruce's mom and sister Pam are often in attendance, usually sitting together in the crowd like normal people. Several times my friends and I were seated near them. At the end of those nights when the lights came up and people started filing out we would yell "Angela!" and wave to them. Bruce's sister never failed to laugh and wave back. I think she gets a kick out of the whole thing. It was definitely her 15 minutes.

I agree...it's such a shit film but I've always been drawn to it. That song that plays throughout, Christopher Lee and the end credits with Sybil Danning give me reason enough to pick this up.:D

I might bite (.....get it?....) depending on the extras. If Reb Brown is involved (commentary or interview) then I'm game.

Never cared for Howling II, but I'm sure the Scream Factory completest in me will pick it up. Besides, I already have their edition of the first movie, as well as that trilogy blu-ray with III, V, and VI.

In other news, I just received Candyman: Farewell To The Flesh in the mail!

Howling II!!! Yes!!! How can you not like it? I mean, it's so much fun and filled with batshit crazy insanity. The only reason people don't give it a chance and think it's awful is due to the unfair comparison to the original one…I don't know, maybe it's just me and the fact that I like bad movies.

I've never seen it. Is Howling II different in the way the Sleepaway Camp sequels are different than the first one?

Hahaha, I never thought about it that way. I've only seen both once, but from what I remember, yes. Very.

Generally, yes. But there is so much in the movie that was intended to be good but was weird, stuff that was meant to be weird that was awkward and by the time they cut the final credits sequence they must have known what a train wreck it was.

My whole family caught this one night when I was young and when the credits ran we were in tears from laughter.

Truly a day one purchase for me. If they can include that"Howling" song somewhere, too, I'd be ETERNALLY grateful.

There is an OST for this. Not just the new wave-y song (which is fantastic) but a whole soundtrack. Scream Factory needs to include that.

The official cover art for "Class of 1984." I'm really looking forward to this release, and the cover art is pretty badass.
