I like it. It's not a great film by any means, but certainly not boring. It's basically Sci-fi/Horror, but focuses more on the Sci-fi element in the plot...though it tends to rebound in the horror field nearer to the end of the film. There's some decent gore here and there. The film has a weird Euro vibe to it (shot in Spain) even though its director and main cast are all American. Lynn-Holly Johnson, Martin Hewitt and Dennis Christopher make an odd trio of friends on a European getaway, that's for sure... in a camper towing a dune buggy no less! The dune buggy does come in handy, as there are quite a few chases and such in the film. MGM previously released it as a DVD-R under the alternate title "The Falling" a few years back. I received the Blu-ray a couple of weeks ago from Shout, and the HD transfer looks pretty good. Bonus features include the Trailer and an Audio Commentary by the director, Deran Sarafian. I haven't had a chance to listen to the audio commentary yet, but the film was apparently a troubled production in more ways than one.
