For the first time in nearly a month my tracking number for the F13 discs has been updated. They shipped out today. If anyone else is still waiting, the end is near.
So much for any uncut Event Horizon? https://collider.com/jason-isaacs-interview-event-horizon-directors-cut/
This just make me want to see it more. Also the "illegal" bit sounds like bs. Nothing stated about that sounded illegal, just real disturbing. I also don't think it's a conspiracy like it seems to be put in that artical. The only thing really stopping this from happening is if the footage no longer exists or if Anderson isn't interested in doing anything about it. That's my takeaway.

Prince of Darkness 4k seems like it may be worth it for the new Atmos track. The reviewer above posted this in reply to whether there's any differences between this new SF release and the Studiocanal version:
Meh. Prince of Darkness wasn’t made with Atmos in mind. I don’t know why people are militant about companies not messing with aspect ratios and color schemes but they don’t give a damn about original sound. To me, they’re no different.
This times a million. The Empire Strikes Back? Sure. Prince of Darkness? No. The original soundtrack should always be included (mono, 2.0, etc).
Most that I've heard sound great. I don't mind an audio upgrade if it's done well and Atmos in my experience has been great to listen to with a real dynamic sound.
I usually always use the Atmos or new surround audio when available and most sound great - but I also agree they should always include the original as well -no excuse not to. Give the consumer a choice
