It looks like the Battle Beyond the Stars Neca figure will be shipping a little late. Here is the email Shout sent me.
We're reaching out to Battle Beyond The Stars fans!
We wanted to update you on your upcoming order.
Due to unforeseen delays from manufacturing, we are going to be shipping your Battle Beyond The Stars action figure later than we had hoped.
We expect to begin shipping these sets the week of July 12, 2021. The NECA action figure is exclusive to our website, so you will still be the first to receive yours, just a little later than we’d hoped.
Ended up getting Event Horizon to check out the new transfer and you're right. It does look better. More so than I was expecting it to.
Alone in the dark 1982 Collector's edition coming 9/14/2021!
Elvira's Haunted Hills is apparently coming out on September 28th.
I wondered if that was on the docket because there's a "Elvira's Haunted Hills" Romania Tour with Cassandra Peterson! next May.
It appears Scream Factory will be releasing UHDs of Halloween 1 - 5.
It appears that Amazon leaked the artwork for the September titles, earlier, as well.
I'd love to claim that I'm done rebuying these fucking movies...but I know I'll eventually cave.
Despite owning the Scream Factory Halloween boxset, I wouldn't mind triple dipping here on the '78 Halloween.
Same here.....I already own Halloween on VHS, DVD, Blu Ray....might as well keep it going...... It IS the greatest horror movie ever made, in my own humble opinion.
Might get Halloween 4 & 5 because the previous blu-rays are so mediocre. 4 in particular looks like a DVD.
Plus, 5 is the best of the sequels.
Is Halloween the first movie to already have a 4K double-dip within its same region?
I've never been huge on the Halloween series, so luckily for my wallet 4Ks aren't enticing for me, I'm good with the Blu-ray set I have. I'll pick up Alone in the Dark for sure though. Maybe Elvira eventually, but I'm not sure I like that one enough for Collector's Edition price.
Why no set for the Halloween 4k's?
I’d be willing to bet that the 4K transfer is identical to the old release. Only difference might be in the extras, although with the plethora of extras that previous discs had they’re bound to be highly redundant.
Super stoked for Alone in the Dark - way overdue.
Alone in the Dark has me more thrilled than the 7353th release of the halloween films ( sad to say but there it is, that being said I know I'll end up with 2 and 3 and the original if it different in a substantial way from the earlier 4k)
The new artwork for the Halloween movies look like shit though. But I hope they continue to have the original art on the reverse.
I might get Alone in the Dark, and the first three Halloween films. Depending on the price.
