Both Chopping Mall and Blood Diner were fantastic releases so I'm beyond stoked for the Waxwork set.
Decent 'unboxing' video of WW/WWII, although he gets the director's name wrong!
Very cool. It is on my must buy list.
Looks like Diabolik is in process of shipping mine. EXCITED!
Just checked my emails, my Waxwork set was shipped yesterday. Excellent hopefully here Monday or Tuesday.
Why So Blu reviews Waxwork/Waxwork II double feature: http://whysoblu.com/waxwork-waxwork-ii-lost-time-collectors-series-blu-ray-review/
cant wait to get Waxwork double feature Blu-ray this tuesday
Sounds like the best we are going to get.
Which, when you consider it, is pretty impressive. I don't see anything to complain about. I'll pick this up at some point for sure.
I will to on my next jaunt to Pittsburgh. I'm not complaining. Glad to see the release.
Just glad these movies are getting good releases.
Chopping Mall's blu made me weep!
Still waiting for a shipping confirmation from Diabolik for Waxworks. I love those guys but, man, they really take their time to ship. BTW, just out of curiosity, why are people calling this a "set"? Is it because there are 2 movies? To me, a set is anything that comes in a box, or a collection of 3 or more films. Just wanted to throw that out there.
You called it.
Next Vestron Titles coming in January 2017
Lair of the White Worm (1988) and Parents (1989)
Lair of the White Worm, awesome. Parents, I'll be skipping as I found it quite boring.
I haven't seen Parents, and didn't enjoy Lair of the White Worm. I'll be skipping these two, I think. When I first saw they were numbered, I thought "uh oh...these guys are preying on my OCD, now I'm going to want them all..." But at $35 a pop, I think this will be one compulsion I'll be able to reel in.
Where did they say that? These are numbered? You mean like 1 out of 3000 copies or number 1 out of 10 in terms of titles?
in terms of titles. on the spine. chopping mall is number 1, blood diner is number 2.
Thank you for the clarification.
Never seen either of these 2 movies but I'm inclined to blind-buy PARENTS. In the beginning I thought I'd pick up every Vestron release as a gesture of support but I see now I simply can't, not at $30 a pop. Some of these films are borderline unwatchable.
Grrr.... I wish they'd announce The Gate already!
