My copy of WW/WWII shipped from Amazon. Might take a bit to get from US to UK, but if it arrives in Oct I will be very happy.

I've never gotten into Parents. It's an interesting idea mediocrely executed.

I'm likewise lukewarm on White Worm. Every few years I check it out but my memory never seems to retain it. Really, I love the nostalgia of the Vestron name, but to me the only one so far that has been a keeper is Chopping Mall.

Both Parents and White Worm are fun.

The Waxwork set is great. Happy with the PQ and the 6 part documentary was an interesting watch.

All the titles are keepers. Even if you don't like the films they're doing a great job with them.

Right now at DDD. You can buy all 5 Vestron with the use of the 15% coupon & free shipping for $21.44 a title. About $17 dollars cheaper than their last sale.

Dare I, or wait for even a better deal?

I honestly do not care for blu-ray.com and their reviews.

Dug through the rest of the Waxwork extras and great stuff.

For my buck, having seen Waxwork exactly one billion times, these two screencaps make it worthwhile:

Look at the fucking details in Michelle Johnson's eyebrows! And the effects on Galligan's fingers have never been as clear as that. Awesome!

Oh, Id wait for that too. It's just that nobody has ever gotten an answer to if this series is "limited" or not. I just didn't want to miss out on any of these titles. If someone would would tell me right now that this titles will be around for sale for years(you know what I mean) than there's no rush. I'll pick them up when they drop under $20. So far I've been averaging about $17 on Scream titles. Been very patient with those & have picked up some really good deals. $16.50 for Return of Living Dead was a decent deal imo.

Since their release, have any of these titles been unavailable?

No, not that I know. But it goes back to my question. They are called Vestron Collector Series. The "Collector" part leads me to that one day they will be OOP. That and they were asking Arrow Limited Edition prices at the first start.

I'm sure one day they will be OOP. But you've got numerous sites selling these for, what, a month or two now and they haven't sold out? If the savings is that important to you, I'd say wait. Take a look at how much you would save by waiting, and then apply that value to the emotional loss if it goes OOP. Is it worth it? Is it? IS IT, Baggio? o_O

In all serious the money is not the problem. I can afford just about any release put out there at any time I want. I just hate buying something for $30 only to be sold a short time later for $10 bucks cheaper. Or buying something that the same store has a sale/coupon a day later. The only time I don't wait and pay full price is when there's a release that is a limited addition with like 3000 or 1000 copies. Twilight Time for one small example. Trust me that when I tell you that if these Vestron titles especially Chopping Mall, Waxwork, Return of the Living Dead 3 were limited to 1000 copies, I've would have bought them at $40 each without even blinking.

I'll be surprised if we get a pressing count on most of these releases--maybe on the truly 'limited' outlier. By not releasing the numbers, they can justify the higher pp and get suckers like me to buy at Day One while still stocking enough to service anyone who wants one. If we see any of these go OOP in the next few months, that will better inform future purchase patterns, I guess.

My problem is the town I live in isn't that large. I have to drive to Pittsburgh to find these because nobody locally carries them, unless FYE starts. When I find them, I buy them. I don't worry about the price.
