I'm guessing that the Trilogy box set is ANGEL, which is disappointing since I have the old Anchor Bay DVD set and I've been wanting Part 4 for awhile now. Who am I kidding? I'll buy it anyway since the transfer and extras are sure to be top-notch.
Angel 4 is a Lionsgate property, so unless the Vestron line comes back in a big way, I doubt it'll make it to disc.
Pre-ordered the Black Friday everything bundle, I would end up buying it anyway. This is going to be an expensive BF and it's not even here yet
I went for the Black Friday bundle. Again, what the hell. So it's this bundle and the other recent bundle back to back. Yikes.
Same here, ordered the full bundle last night shortly after it went live. Plus, you get "two" separate Slipcovers for one of the secret titles only if you get this bundle. I'm pretty sure the Trilogy 3-film set is "Angel" by all indications, but what the other two titles are yet is a mystery. It is a pricey month though, I agree! Usually it's just October, but this month it's September, October...and most likely November also with the actual BF sales everywhere.
Oh you get 2 separate slipcovers for one of the titles. I didn't notice/read that. Interesting. When I read about the "potential" it was Angel series, that's was the deciding factor to pull the trigger. Can't imagine what the other two are. My only concern is the two secret not being "studio films" ... I hope I even know them. LOL "One a mean spirited shocker, the other an almost unclassifiable jaw dropper. Both of them together...like nothing we've ever had the privilege of releasing. **Note: before the rampant guessing begins, these are NOT studio films**" Any guesses?
I've never been disappointed with their secret titles, and have pre-ordered them all before. No clue on what these particular two secret titles may be though. They gave the hint, but it could be practically anything it seems like. But with them both being non-studio films I'm hoping they are something wild.
Yeah I got suckered in too. If it weren't for the known knowns of T&tTR I would have resisted but what the hell. Plus the two truly mystery titles sound up my dark dank alley.
You guys are braver than me. I just can't plunk down cash on an unknown title. Everything VS does is excellent, but sometimes the movies themselves are beyond redemption. Hell, I've RESEARCHED VS titles and been disappointed, so I sure as shit won't do it sight unseen.
The thing with VS titles is that even if you don't want it yourself you can almost certainly get your money back by selling the unwanted ones. It would be difficult to lose money.
I think one of the secret titles might be Edge of the Axe. I feel like I heard something about that somewhere along the way within the last couple of months.
You're not wrong here, but I'm just too lazy to do it that way. I often buy something or upgrade something with the thought "I can sell my old one, and damn near break even". I have a garage with two bicycles, several sets of speakers, A/V receivers, and boxes of LDs and DVDs of movies that I now own on Blu....
Yeah I've been selling stuff on eBay and while the money is decent it takes a surprising large amount of my time to list and ship. I'm going to try again soon with maybe 10 items but at just 10 a week (which I could not keep up) it'd take decades to sell this crap and probably won't be worth a damn by then. Ah, kinda cool but not sticker kewl.
