It's with Arrow, but Vinegar Syndrome might be doing to restoration for them?
Ah, maybe that’s what I heard.

What's that T&tTR is that a sticker? That'd be Jawesome!
You're not wrong here, but I'm just too lazy to do it that way. I often buy something or upgrade something with the thought "I can sell my old one, and damn near break even".
I have a garage with two bicycles, several sets of speakers, A/V receivers, and boxes of LDs and DVDs of movies that I now own on Blu....
It's just a little advertisement card with the sale details on the back.
Yeah I've been selling stuff on eBay and while the money is decent it takes a surprising large amount of my time to list and ship. I'm going to try again soon with maybe 10 items but at just 10 a week (which I could not keep up) it'd take decades to sell this crap and probably won't be worth a damn by then.
Ah, kinda cool but not sticker kewl.
I retired last year and start selling off my movie and memorabilia collection. For me it only takes about 10-15 hours to get 100 plus auctions ready per month. Yes there is also time needed for packaging and trips to the post office but the money is supplementing my retirement. I sold over 15K in the first year and it's not like I'm really missing the items that are now gone.

I just received Pledge Night, which too came with the ad for Tammy and the T-Rex. Here's a question: the card says Tammy and the T-Rex will be available for the 50% off Black Friday sale. Does that mean those of us who just pre-ordered it at full price will receive that discount?
The ad is deceptive. Tammy will be regular price. I agree though, it does kind of read that way.
I’m pretty sure that anything recently released never falls into the 50% off sale. Keep in mind too, the “50% off” is off the suggested retail price.

Question / comment.
Is diabolikdvd the only website/shop that carries VS releases (with slipcovers) besides VS's own shop?
And if this is the case ... why not just buy them from directly from VS. Same price and you don't have to pay for shipping if you spend over $50.
P.S. - If diabolikdvd is selling them for the same price as VS .. then what the hell are they paying for them? They got to be getting them for like $20 or cheaper ... it's not worth the hassle. VS should sell them at those prices at their own shop. Cut out the middleman.
Yes, the only other place to get the LE slipcovers other than direct from VS is Diabolik. Lots of folks buy from Diabolik, especially international customers, where you'd have to pay shipping regardless plus you can bundle with more options for other discs if doing a bulk order. Sure, if you're in the US and are only ordering straight VS titles, then yeah, direct from VS is a no-brainer, but if you're even bundling with other titles you'll still have more options from Diabolik than with VS's online Archive storefront selections. Plus the more places you can buy something, the more units you will sell, even if you lose a percentage than if you sold direct.

I watched Pledge Night today, and I found it pretty enjoyable. It's definitely in same the don't-take-it-too seriously mid to late 80's vein of horror as Slaughter High (of which it in some plays like a more modest version). Puerile hazing rituals take up the first half of the movie and sets a light, immature tone, and there's even a weirdly homoerotic undercurrent to the proceedings that the movie seems to take as far as it dares. There is female nudity as well, but for a bunch of supposedly straight guys, the fraternity members sure are in a hurry to expose the buttocks of their pledges in all sorts of ways. Once the vengeful Acid Sid makes his entrance, there are some fun kills - not least the one where he gorily emerges from the body of a fraternity member he had apparently possessed. One death, where Sid buries a guy's face in his open abdomen, is a missed opportunity for gnarly acid burns. We hear victim's skin sizzling, but the makeup effects are tame. Sid himself looks pretty cool, though. And I disagree with the reviewer about him being a Freddy clone - IMO, he has much more in common with Mary Lou from Prom Night II.
But Mary Lou is basically a Freddy clone...
