Dying to see the production stills of the five new VS Blu's. There still isn't any, just the artwork. :(

I don't see any pics from the Findlay movies yet.

They aren't on the Facebook page, but in the product pages for the Blu-rays on the VS website for the October releases. Here's the ones for the Findlay flicks: https://vinegarsyndrome.com/shop/prime-evil-lurkers/

I got my September package yesterday. First in line is Psychos in Love. I'm about halfway through the movie and haven't checked out any of the extras yet. Cute flick so far. Of course, the transfer is clean and sharp.

I received Psychos in Love and Orgy of the Dead. The only two titles I purchased. Been a long time fan of Psychos. I know Orgy of the Dead isn't a good film but I figured it should be a part of my collection.

I really wanted that beautiful slip for Psychos In Love, but I cheaped out and ordered it from DeepDiscount instead for $15.29. $10 is a bit steep for a slipcover.

I did order the full October package direct from Vinegar Syndrome, which I can't wait to get my hands on!

    How horror-ish is Nurse Sherri?

Trying to decide if I want to watch it now, or save it for closer to Halloween as a first time viewing.

Although, I'll have Vinegar Syndrome's October package to dive into around Halloween, so might as well just watch it now.

It doesn't fit comfortably into any other genre than horror. That said, it's too crude to work as a scare machine (just look at those green scribbles when Sherri is possessed - looks like something a small kid did with a crayon). It's still somewhat enjoyable, with some splatter, fun performances, and a decent sting in the tail.

I finished Psychos in Love and Trip with the Teacher. Psychos didn't have quite the kick I was expecting, but it was a lot of fun with a ton of goofy charm.

Trip is a solid piece of exploitation, although it was far more tame than its reputation suggested. Still, a nasty enough movie with an unsettling performance by Zalman King.

I briefly popped in Orgy of the Dead this morning while getting ready for work, but only long enough to get Criswell's intro, which is gold.

So...Orgy of the Dead. I watched more of it this morning, and was sure that by how long it seemed I had been watching, that I was more than halfway through. But, somehow I only managed to be just shy of 1/3 into it after pausing to take a look at the run time. 90 minutes? I expected 65, maybe 70 max for a film that's basically just made up of mild to embarrassing strip routines. I'll have to chip away at it over another couple of mornings. I think, with the combo of Criswell and Ed Wood's dialogue, that I will survive.

The transfer looks gorgeous, though. Colorful and probably about as sharp as it will ever be. The only supplement I've watched so far is the interview with Nadejda Klein, which so far is a delight.

    Bring on October!

I had this on VHS during my Ed Wood obsession phase. It's pretty boring. The stripteases are sleep-inducing. I did buy it but am not in a rush to watch.
