Cutting Class is coming this November:

    IMG_20181011_134330.jpg

We are finally ready to announce what is probably our best kept secret in some time; that we've completed a new 4k restoration of Rospo Pallenberg's star studded 1988 slasher, CUTTING CLASS, and will be issuing its 30th anniversary Blu-ray debut on Black Friday. What's more is that, unlike the old DVD which purported to be 'unrated,' but was in fact the much tamer MPAA 'R' version, our Blu is totally uncut.

To further commemorate the excitement of being able to watch sleaze-era Brad Pitt in HD, we've asked five of our favorite artists (Jay Shaw, Earl Kessler Jr., Derek Gabryszak, Chris Garofalo and Cody Brown) to each design a slipcover based upon their favorite kill in the film. Hence the 'Killer Covers of CUTTING CLASS' package.

As we did last year, we'll be having a flash preorder at VinegarSyndrome.com for the CUTTING CLASS slipcover package as well as our two Black Friday limited edition surprise horror Blu-rays. During the flash preorder event, you'll have the ability to order 'The Killer Covers of CUTTING CLASS' package with or without the two surprise horror releases. The stress-free flash preorder will take place over the weekend of October 19th-21st.

The 'Killer Covers' package will only be available during our flash preorder event: October 19th-21st. Individual slipcovers will be available for purchase during our Black Friday sale (complicated, huh?).

It's worth mentioning that any CUTTING CLASS slips left over after our Black Friday sale will be shredded (if there are any left to shred); this is a 100% Black Friday sale exclusive and no slipcover editions will be sold at conventions or by any other retailer.

Also, to be completely clear, the 'Killer Covers of CUTTING CLASS' package consists of:
    (1) Blu-ray and (5) Slipcovers

Visit VinegarSyndrome.com October 19th-21st (EST) to place your preorder.

    ---

Earl Kessler Jr. = 'axe to the head' cover
Derek Gabryszak = 'copy death machine' cover
Jay Shaw = 'trampoline of death' cover
Chris Garofalo = 'killer kiln' cover
Cody Brown = 'bleacher death' cover

I don't know which cover I like best. Maybe the Trampoline or Bleacher.

I actually don't like any of the slipcovers, but I'm definitely buying this one when it comes out.

Well, The Fiend was one of the possibilities that I listed when VS mentioned another British title way back when, around the time that Terror was announced.

This is as close as I've come to guessing one of their titles. Hooray for me.

The November titles sound excellent, in any case.

Yeah, and if you can wait you can pick it up at DD without the slip for around $17 or cheaper too.

Just wish it didn't have that label in bottom right corner. The axe cover is imo the worst. The copy machine is just .. I don't ... I don't' want that thing in my Blu collection, too wierd. That's why maybe I now think the Bleacher is the most interesting one and creative.

    LOL

When I was scrolling down the page slowly, I first saw George Kennedy and the boat and thought was .. oh no, not another version of Death Ship.

My first thought was Death Ship rip-off as well.

Bam! Pre-ordered the two mystery titles. I didn't pre-order Cutting Class, which I remember finding really bland. Brad Pitt was hot in it, but that's it...

Any guesses as to what the two mystery titles could be? I suck so hard at these guessing games, partly because my analysis of the images is clouded by wishful thinking.

At this point I would be pretty surprised if The Children isn't one of the mystery titles.

If they're what I think they are, then yeah, this is a pretty safe blind-buy.

Pre-ordered the Cutting Class package with the two mystery titles also :D. I know I'll be getting them anyway on Black Friday so it's nice to order them early so I don't have to think about it.

I did the same. I know the extra slip covers truly serve no purpose but they also said we'll get a $5.00 coupon to use during Black Friday as well. I wish we could have gotten this offer for the Zombie slip covers because I actually want all of those.
