Well as an existing yearly subscriber I can ensure you I saved well over a buck a title compared to DDs sale prices/lowest prices elsewhere (especially since I'm located in Canada as I'd have to pay shipping every time if I ordered from other sites). And when I sold off titles I didn't want to keep I always made my money back if not 2x to 3x what I paid for them with the package subscription price (especially when it came to the limited slip editions) so it's been well worth it for me. Since last year's subscription came in three releases under the projected total they actually emailed us an $80 coupon towards renewing our subscription package this year (which I did renew today) so right there that was a bonus perk I wasn't expecting and added even more value.

They finally made me do it. I took the yearly subscription. Normally I don't care for their porn movies and I even went for the completionist option.
Go to Diabolikdvd. Incubus w/slip is in stock there. Otherwise, the standard release is on sale via Amazon.
I got MAUSOLEUM - one of my favorites. I'm keeping the BCI DVD because the battered and tattered print is kinda charming (and rather like that original 1983 viewing at the dollar theater...oh, good times). I also got THE CHILDREN which was one of the first R rated horror movies I was allowed to see. I don't feel like waiting for a cheaper cost and although I'm not a fan of revisionist slipcover artwork. I rather liked these. It took about an hour and 50 minutes to complete that transaction.
maybrick should be happy about The Children, I remember him posting some really cool photos from the cemetery in the movie. It looks like VS did a locations featurette for it. I had caught wind of them releasing Splatter University and was able to sell my 88 Films blu before it was announced. I had heard about There's Nothing Out There too, but wasn't able to sell that DVD in time. Looks like now I have an Unrated Unmasked Part 25 VHS to sell.
Slipcovers arent a deal breaker for me but Vinegar Syndrome has the most beautiful slips out there and the one for Mausoleum is great. Its gonna be great to see Mausoleum in HD.
Are the $5 coupons unique per customer? I think I'm doing a pickup in the store tomorrow. The only thing I noticed was gone that I was contemplating was Pets - oh well. i still haven't even opened my Code Red DVD release. As for the Cutting Class slips, man, they all kinda stink. I actually like the Kiln one the best I guess - seems the least lame. And it doesn't look like that one is going to sell out any time soon. In addition to that, Mausoleum, Blood Harvest ans Dear Dead Delilah are my only other purchases. I may bite on Blood Hook and The Children too.
Yes. If ordering from Canada you are saving a bunch in the shipping. On what you said about selling off titles you didn't want. In my case, I rather pick and choose and not deal with bothering selling unwanted titles. For me there were several titles in the last few months that I wouldn't pick up for $5. These two 2018 Black Friday secret titles turned out to be great imo. 2017's 2 titles, one of them was a hit and the other they still can't give away even with a slip a whole year later.
The Children is apparently selling quite well, too, but hasn't yet dipped below the 500 left mark, yet, so isn't showing the remaining quantity on the website.
I'm still backfilling my VS collection, so I won't be getting any yearly subscriptions for a while. Oh, and also when I get a better job. Still picked up Star Time Terror Blood Hook Sugar Cookies a little annoyed that a recent VS purchase I made, Catch My Soul, is now down to $9.99, when I got it over the summer on sale at $20.99. That's permanently discontinued though, so if you want that, get it now. It's a rock opera version of Othello starring Richie Havens

Mausoleum is down to 56 copies. I went ahead and ordered mine, but with the "Pickup at the Archive in CT" option. I almost went to bed assuming I'd be able to get a copy tomorrow - boy, would I have been peeved!
