    As a kid I loved when the HBO guide came, I'd mark all the movies I wanted to see. HBO had a key for all the content: V for violence, BN for brief nudity.

    I love these ads.
    Never heard 'The Car' described as a 'surreal version of the headless horseman', but that is an interesting analogy.

    Ahhh...the good ole days!! I loved getting the newspaper and going directly to the movie listings. I LOVE these. Thanks for sharing. I can remember being so thrilled when a new horror film came to town.

    This one isn't a real video game, it was a fake ad made to promote an indie horror flick called Murder University. And while that Hellraiser game was in development, it was cancelled interestingly enough because it used what was being called a "Super Cartridge" as the standard NES hardware/software couldn't handle the platform the game was designed on which was the Wolfenstein 3D engine and costs ended up being too much.
