    Man, it seems like every time I turn around lately there's yet another must-have dvd release coming out the second half of 2005. It's very nice, but I can feel my credit card trembling sometimes.

    Definately double-dipping this one, the current DVD is pretty poor in modern terms.

    I'm soo glad I waited on this one. I love the extra features that are going to be included and the cover art (for once) is an improvement over the original release.

    It is weird, I was just looking for the disc of this movie the other night when I was at Best Buy. I'm glad I didn't find it since this new one is coming out.

    Man, I saw a War of the Worlds DVD in a UK store yesterday. Nice new slipcase cover and all. Except - when I looked, they'd simply put the old DVD in a new case....... LAME.

    Last time I saw this movie I fell asleep. After rereading the original novel and seeing the remake I am willing to give this flick another chance. Can't pass up on those commentaries.

    Having seen the recent remake, I must say I want to see this more now. Mouth-watering!

    Actually, i caught this on cable tonight. Still pretty good.

    But gee........Ann Robinson was pretty ugly........

    Also if you have a peer share like Limewire you can find the Welles radio broadcast!!

    Absolutly a must.
