Looks like Warner's going to shoot off their whole load in on sitting this June:

Finally, Zero Hour! I've also been wanting Trog for some time too. That hurts though, $120 MSRP all on one day? Why not space it out so people can realistically pick them all up on each's individual release day?

Great news! I've especially been wanting The Giant Behemoth and Trog.

Been wanting lots of those on DVD. Now is the day. Finally maybe Grindhouse is bringing forth the possiblities.

I sure hope that Grindhouse inspires different dvd labels to unearth from the vaults as many retro cult obscurities as possible. Fingers crossed...

    Got some info on extras:

And perhaps I'll get ole Tom Weaver in trouble but here's so more news about Warner's slate:
Hopefully some more Allied Artist releases like World Without End will make it out as well.

There's been some killer box sets these past few years for genre fans. I don't need a 4k HD restoration of Zero Hour! after all, so when gather it together with some other genre entries it really gives you bang for your buck.

That is a lot to blow in one day. I'll probably pick up one a week or so, as I'm still finishing way too many other sets at the moment. (tv shows/toxie packs, etc.)

That's such a strange coincidence. Just yesterday afternoon I was lamenting over the fact that we had yet to see a DVD release of The Giant Behemoth. No joke!

Same here! I was regretting having sold my GIANT BEHEMOTH, 50 FT. WOMAN and TROG laserdiscs last year. Those were some excellent transfers, too. Let's hope the DVD's have a high standard, too. It'll be great to have those again.

DVD Times has full specs on all the releases along with large cover art: http://www.dvdtimes.co.uk/content.php?contentid=64377

It's interesting that they only mention Dennis Muren as working on Jurassic Park, when he's been with ILM since the beginning starting with A New Hope.

I think they only mentioned JP because of the dinosaur connection between the two movies--about how far SFX have come towards being realistic. That's my assumption, anyway.
