    You're welcome! My sentiments exactly.

The timing did irritate me somewhat. Not only did this sale come right on the heels of all the others--it also came right after I purchased Demon Seed and The Valley of Gwangi for slightly higher prices. Of course, I still had zero trouble finding 4 other titles that I wanted.

Looks like once you hit four everything you put in after is only $11 too. So you don't have to buy groups of 4.

Even though I really want some of the most recent addition, I had to stop myself. This is the same exact sale from just about the same exact time last year when I bought a bunch. So I'll save the titles for next year. I'm also putting off the Criterion sale until the Fall. I simply spent too much this Memorial Day and then again for July 4th.

This is definitely the case. All the eligible titles are $11 a piece once you put 4 in the cart. The last time they had this sale I went a little nutty.

At long last, John Landis' "Innocent Blood" is coming to blu-ray as a part of the Warner Archive Collection. :D

Release date is scheduled for September 19th.

Since it's been bumped, thought I'd throw in this exciting news. The first 101 Porky Pig cartoons are being released UNCENSORED this Tuesday:

Titles can be found here: http://www.dohtem.com/bugs/news/

So the word is that the initial batch from WBShop.com will be pressed? And after that burned? It's also up for pre-order on Amazon but that's still DVD-R? I find it hard to believe WB would bother to burn discs as well as press discs between themselves and Amazon.

Night School is rumored to be released on blu-ray this October.

Delores Claiborne is also rumored to hit blu-ray before the end of the year.

No firm confirmation on either though.

    3-hour-Long TV Version:
I've got an inkling that an UHD is in the works of the theatrical cut at least. I would say in advance of MoS2 but that is a little while off. But they'd happy set it on the shelf 'til then too.

They've done this before. If I'm not mistaken, the pressed copies would only be available through WBShob, not through Amazon.

It looks like a press release has gone out with the release details, though not yet posted to the Warner Archives Facebook page.

That 4 for $44 sale can't come back soon enough.

And now that they're releasing the 3-hour TV cut of Superman (a nice surprise!), maybe the unrated version of Jason Goes To Hell too. ;)

I thought I was getting off easy this Black Friday, but 4 for $44 is back on! Hopefully Night Moves, The Hidden, and Innocent Blood are included. I'm checking now.

UPDATE: Balls. None of the most recent titles are included in the sale. Easy pass now.

Damnit there were a bunch I wanted but Warner still doesn't ship to Canada. Ugh. Annoying.

That's truly bewildering. How does a conglomerate the size of Warner justify a decision like this? Canadians need not apply? Grab a torch and pitchfork and round up some friends. Ha.

it was the only sale I did this time. I wanted THE GREEN SLIME Blu Ray but it wasn't on sale. Instead, I got the VALLEY OF GWANGI Blu and a few Italian sword and sandal DVDs. $44.
