I cry both for happiness and sadness- cuz my wallet is going to be hurting
A lot of those have had decent releases before. Not saying the new releases won't be an upgrade but the ones I listed have never had decent looking releases (or in the case of Return of Godzilla no release at all!)
A great year for genre fans regardless!!
Twister is definitely right that this is an especially very big deal.
Although, telling everyone else he doesn't care about what they're anxiously awaiting... Sounds like something I would do.
So is it confirmed that ROTLD 3 will be uncut? Apologies if it was mentioned previously, but was curious?
I haven't seen confirmation, only rumor:
Thanks, workshed. I wonder if Yuzna is on social media? Would like to know for sure. Man that would be great if it was.
ROTLD 3 needs to be Uncut on Blu. I didn't buy the rated cut on DVD and I definitely won't on blu.
I'll just stick to my bootleg in that case.
Here's that Nameless (German) edition Blu-ray of Waxwork up for preorder, with prices ranging from 109 euros for the bust to 19.99 euros for the basic disc, and a 29.99 'mediabook' edition.
There's also the official site but my German isn't so great--google translate says none of these are available?
Not sure if I need this but damn it is tempting.
Has there been confirmation of where the print is coming from, the website is listing it as uncut and 102 mins, I've been bit by this before, so I won't be biting until I get full details, anyone here heard anything?
It's a good question, hots4. I haven't heard anything.
Both of the Mediabooks are also now up on Amazon DE for pre-order.
Does media book = steel book?
No, it's more like a thicker larger Digibook, like this:
Thanks. You gonna pick this up? I can't decide.
Judging by the screenshot comparisons the studio posted on their Facebook page, probably so. The transfer looks to be a lot better than the Lionsgate release as far as visible detail and color grading go.
They have the comparisons posted here: https://www.facebook.com/NameLessMediaFilm/posts/683634971792058
There is also supposed to be a cheaper standard case version coming out.
Damn, that does look better.
First time I ever saw screen comparisons with different parts of the scene.
What do you mean, huh? It's not the same shot. It's half a shot vs the other half of the shot. Different sections of a scene have different shadows, lighting, colors, angles, objects, people, backgrounds, etc...
Never scene a comparison like that before. It's always full shot vs full shot. I'm NOT judging whether one is better than the other. Simply stating a fact that I never seen a company proclaiming they have a better transfer, and prove it by showing half a shot vs half a shot.
