Anyone seen this one yet? Looks really interesting! Hits DVD and Blu-ray in October from Dark Sky Films. Pre-ordered it from Walmart for only $8.64. As a blind-buy, I figured that was about as good of a price as I could ask for.

Anyone got thoughts on this one? Love the poster artwork!

I love the poster art myself! I watched it last night on VUDU. I bought it for the same price as walmart but digital streaming. I loved the movie, very effective IMO. The killings were awesome and a great creepy story. Highly recommend.

I like the look of this one (and Barbara Crampton!). A blind pre-order via Amazon was in order.

:D --trailer had a nice sense of humor about itself. These poor couples who are all set to buy a house and then learn of its awful, demon-worshipping previous owners. Won't they ever learn to rescind their offer? I hope not!

    Will see this one.

Thanks for the heads up about Wal-Mart. Looks like shipping is free too. Great price on a new release!

Larry Fressenden is in this one. Usually when he's a part of something, it'll be something creative and interesting. And goes without saying, but Barbara Crampton!

Very enjoyable, a slow burner, with some nice gory kills. Will pick up the blu at some point.

This looks really good. I've always been a huge Barbara Crampton fan. This will be another blind buy for me to add to my growing pile of blu rays.

It was really quite good. A nice mix of elements from The Changeling, The Fog, The Amityville Horror, etc. It was refreshing to see a horror film with mature adults as the leads rather than a bunch of twenty something hipsters, and by going this route a nice meaty role could be given to Crampton.

Amen! Really tired of the same old PG-13 teenage plots. I am going to pick this up the first chance I get.

Saw this last night, and I really enjoyed it.
Thanks to the late 70:s setting, and the slowburn of the first half, it really felt like one of those classics from that decade.
Crampton was great in it, and the movie was pretty damn creepy at times.
There is some wonderful practical gore FX in it as well. Didn't expect it to be this brutal :D

Hearing really good things about this! The poster looks excellent! I have the BD on pre-order. I just hope it's not another It Follows!

I thought this was decent, but nothing special.

Lisa Marie really fucked up her face with all that plastic surgery.

I think its botox more than anything. Something about her mouth looks fucked. Kinda cool that shes got work though.

I enjoyed this one. Not so predictable as something like The Conjuring and what have you. I may be tempted to scoop a copy if I spot it at the right price.

Did they ever explain the burnt spirits? I think I missed that.

Just caught it at a local film fest this weekend, and agree. Pretty so-so.

I thought it started our rather slow but picked up after about 20 minutes. The kills were certainly violent and I enjoyed the way the ghosts kept showing up in the background. There really wasn't enough story letting us know why these ghosts were there and why they were killing people.
