    Release Date 24 April

    English audio available.

I don't know anything about this movie.Only that there's some controversy regarding Shriek Show's incorrectly framed DVD.
Will this release be like the Japanese release?Who knows.
I'll keep you updated if I can :)

    Last I heard, its Fullframe.

From what I know the only edition with correct 2:35 framing is the Japanese DVD.

Sorry mate, I watched he documentary "This Film Not Yet Rated" last night, an expose of the MPAA. Showing pubic hair was something that offended them. Mental connections......

judging from the screenshot from the japanese DVD it doesn't look like 2.35:1 to me.

I'm still confused by the whole pubic hair argument...Would the MPAA find that offensive if she shaved?

Watch the documentary I mentioned, Spit. That says it all. The MPAA are pretty evil, and their censorship and secrecy is simply mind-boggling. The documentary is a real eye-opener.

But yes, pubic hair is STILL a major problem.

I think all copies of ww are now corrected (they did a recall). That italian cover is outrageous! But if you are in the US I think SS is the way to go, I just picked up the wild women 3 pack at bb for 15 bucks and it's in there.

there is also a French release by Neo Publishing (which i bought) which unfortunately contains only French and Italian audio with French subs but as I recall that was a correctly framed version! and apparently the correct OAR is 1.85

Any comments about the movie itself? I watched the Shriek Show DVD last night. I have to say, I was absolutely hating it for at least the first 45 minutes. There was the werewolf nonsense (and in actuality, it's not even a werewolf film), a few convoluted plots about the main character's ancestry, pitifully dubbed dialogue, and no female character could be on screen for more than 3 minutes before going full frontal nude. To quote the immortal theologian Booger, "We've got bush! We've got bush".

But I have say, once Daniela escapes from the hospital, it got genuinely good! They finally established a story, and I like the rape/revenge angle (even if it's not up there with all-time classis of that genre like I Spit on Your Grave, Thriller, or Ms. 45).

    Good movie for the patient.
