Blu-ray has given me the excuse to re-watch The Thing and The Terminator which then prompted me to re-watch Alien. I'm in the mood for more great Sci-Fi Horror. What are some of the other classics in this sub-genre?

Alien, The Thing and Event Horizon are all chilling scifi/horror films. There are a lot of others I like, but aren't classics like Creature, Forbidden Planet, Nightflyers and Galaxy of Terror. A Scifi/horror film can be much more terrifying because of the sense of dread, isolation and no escape they give you. Even though The Thing is on my list, I more closely associate this subgenre with being on a spaceship.
