Then again, looking at some of your lists, it's all opinion here as to what's a slasher cause I see some I wouldn't call slashers.

I love Slashers, but for some reason a Blade In The Dark always struck me as pretty F'ing cool. It was like artisticly bloody. :)

Also always liked Stage Fright as well.

Welcome to the forums, Mike! Any fan of Madman is a friend of mine.

I've got a good ten more to see, then I'm hoping to do an article of some sort of definitive slasher list. It's been awesome these last few months really scouring the bottom of the barrel for the most obscure slashers out there.

excellent, bring it on. I've been trying to do some of that over the summer, too.

I'm a hardcore lover of all slashers but My Bloody Valentine is #1 in my book! The rest mentioned are all pretty much neck and neck for me.

You can't go wrong with Sleepaway Camp, but my all time favorite slasher is Black Christmas (1974).

My Bloody Valentine is a good one that I feel still works well despite the censorship. I feel the shower death is actually cooler in the censored cut then the if they would have shown the entire thing (the stills have leaked all over the internet). Originally they would have shown the entire body with the head being latched on the shower head. The way it happens in the R-rated cut is much cooler. I like how we just see the mouth with water running through it and the character's reaction in the same shot. We know what happened, but much is left to the imagination. The other deaths need to be reinstated though. The pick through the eye gag would have been wonderful (along with the subsequent dragging). In the end, even though the Mpaa fucked this movie up a bit, they didn't botch it up like Friday the 13th part VII The New Blood (that was one wrecked movie).

Sorry... I rambled quite a bit

I love them all. Except for maybe Terror Train.. I hope more obscure ones will see some good dvd treatment.

I should add Slumber Party Massacre (only the 1st one). Haven't watched it in so long that I always forget about it.
