There are not enough possible response spaces for the whole Bond franchise so gonna split them up into three polls :)

I like the first 3 pretty much equally, but had to go with Dr. No and Goldfinger.

Connery never felt like my generation's Bond... So I'm a little lukewarm on all of his.

The Heavenly Beacons of Licentious Anti-Charm and Fair-Weathered Platitudes have leaned me in the direction of the following answer...

I guess Goldfinger and Dr. No are clearly the best two films..., but the heart wants Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again. I had the best time watching those and thought From Russia with Love was a sizable letdown.

Connery didn't have a BAD Bond film. That being said, Diamonds is just SO campy. NSNA needs more love.

    Are you sure?

And one of if not the only Bond film(s) to make me laugh at an intentional joke. Rather than when I can't control myself- like the boatloads of minions who typically chase Bond on skis, in various air vehicles, on boats, that one scene in the moon car, etc, and always fail so spectacularly. Every time a scene like that comes up, and they go down by the dozens, I always add in a high-pitched voice as their dying words: "if only we were any good at our joooooooooooooobs!!!..."

You just can't get good help these days.

Yes it bloody well does. (That's the other funniest Bond film. Non-stop entertainment.)

I love NSNA, Diamonds are Forever though is pretty awful it feels like BOnd got caught in a Smokey and the Bandit film.

Smokey and the Bandit (assuming they are each separate characters, like Bill and Ted or Cagney and Lacey) climbed up the side of a giant casino hotel in extremely suspenseful, believably death-defying fashion, and slipped into a diabolically secretive super-villain's bugged control room fully expecting high-stakes danger?

This Smokey and Bandit of which you speak sound awesome!
