Good question ... what did I watch this weekend ??? drank too much ... and worked in the back yard alot .... had a big bon fire .... oh yes, I watched Zombi 3 aka Zombie Flesh Eaters 2. Thought it was pretty good. Not the best zombie flick but was entertaining enough to keep my attention.

I finished most of my homework (1 project LEFT!!!!!!) finally.

Sunday I watched tons of Twilight Zone (80s version) episodes. Man, they had some really, really good stories in there. Watching the credits was a kick too - you'll see lots of talented directors, like Wes Craven (pre-Scream, so the talent was still there). You also see lots of familiar faces, like Bruce Willis, Dee Wallace, and many more. I'm looking forward to watching the rest of them.

  9. Hey Dave,

Are the Twilight Zones from the 80's out on DVD? Or do you just happen to have them on recorded on VHS?

I liked the few episodes of the series that I saw, and I certainly would not mind adding them to my collection if they are out there.

    Thanks in advance.

Shit, I wish they were on DVD.

Japanese laserdisc, actually. The complete season one was released onto laserdisc in Japan (English dialoge, Japanese subtitles).

A friend of mine converted all of the lasers onto VCD. Damn good quality too. Easily the best conversion I've ever seen, especially to VCD.

As for the show, I'm impressed with Season One. I hear Season Two isn't as good, and Season Three is awful. Unfortunately, only season one was released on LD in Japan. I do have a handful of episodes from Season Two and Three on VCD as well, but they were recorded from cable TV.

It wasn't that good, but it had some funny parts. The main reason I watched it was because I haven't seen it since I was about ten years old. The only thing I remembered was everyone killing someone at the end and a black guy eating a popsicle. I never knew what it was called until recently.

I have a ton of Brentwood flicks to watch yet. I'm sure a lot of them suck, but I'll check them out anyways.

I watched Creepshow 2 last night. I have no idea why everyone puts down this movie... I think it is great and really lives up to the original!! :)
