http://imgur.com/aCX1sLz Movie with spiffy dude who sees woman sitting in front of a painting and proceeds to choke her. Seen it a lot on Roku lately. I took a cell phone screen capture.
I watch Cryptic TV (Good for Giallos) Bizarre TV (Rare Slashers) B-Movie TV (rare 80s and 90s action films) The Grindhouse Channel and CULT TV Network. All make me miss MONSTERS HD !
The movie selection between Cryptic TV and Grindhouse are uncannily identical, but the live streaming option of Cryptic TV is fun to watch. If you're into live streaming, if you get the Filmon app you can get access to ten more of them. Downside is the menus are really ugly and there's a bug in the corner all the time.
Don't get me started. I'm really truly shocked that no company has tried to resurrect that channel. Only people who had Dish Network or Cablevision have a clue on what is missed. Still today there is nothing that compares. Which is pretty dam amazing in itself.
I know exactly what is missed as I have Cablevision...it was so great and there will probably never be another channel dedicated to horror like it. Anyway...enjoy circa 2009...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ovKOu0N-fLY
I'll just bump this thread: I read someone referencing Lovecraft influences on The Cabin in the Woods and "Seed of Madness," which I haven't heard of and can't seem to find on IMDb or general searching. (Unfortunately "seed" and "madness" just bring up mostly March Madness results) They didn't just brain fart In the Mouth of Madness did they? And while I'm at it, anyone know if Banshee Chapter (2013) or Absentia (2011) are really worth checking out?
Because I see a lot of them on streaming channels... Has PM Entertainment and Cannon films libraries gone Public Domain?
