Wow! Leslie Neilson looks so much like Fred Gwynne in that shot.

tonight is the last day of my little vacation visit with the folks, and it's also my birthday so Dad is taking us out to see Kung Fu Hustle. Looks like good mindless fun. I'm not always the biggest fan of that stuff, but this one sounds great...

have been watching some CSI episodes today. Just watched "Stalker" from season 2 and that is a just a cool episode.

    Have you seen Shaolin Soccer?
    It's the same actor/writer/director.

Not as much humor as Shaolin Soccer, but it's definitely more over the top.
Actually, it's about as close as I've ever seen to a live action cartoon.

I have Dead Alive, Friday the 13th Pt. 8, and Escape from the Planet of the Apes from Netflix. Let's see if I can fit them all in.

    Raising Cain. :D

It's been a long time since I saw it on cable. Now that my DVD has arrived, I'll rewatch it but now ... in widescreen.

Watched Malevolence last night which I liked. Definately has some heavy Halloween influence, but still found it better than some of the multi-million dollar shite They're releasing these days. Good little movie, IMO.

Tonight I'm thinking either House of Flying Daggers or Primer. Looking forward to both.

Yes I have and yes...I think I'll enjoy it for the zaniness. At least he doesn't take it all serious like Crouching Tiger, which has a nice look but bored me to tears.

Will probably try to watch Memento Mori or Koma tonight.

Have so many to get through and so little time.

My next-in-line is Brett Leonard's latest opus, Man-Thing...

And perhaps I'll finally try "Dark Prince" and (or?) "Vlad Tepes".

Just received "Island of Terror" in the mail, so it's a Roo's Creature Feature night. First Feature will be "Fiend Without a Face" followed by "Island of Terror". I remember having to watch these on a 13" B&W TV set as a kid........Now it's on a 42" HDTV with a home theater. I Love being Grown up!!!
