Between those (tell me if I forgot any)... and I mean, the character themselves, not the movies. I do not include the bride, the son or the ghost of any monsters here.

    Dracula/Nosferatu
    Frankenstein
    Dr Jekyll/Mr Hyde
    The Wolf Man
    The Invisible Man
    The Mummy
    Phantom Of The Opera
    White Zombie
    The Vampire Bat
    The Black Cat
    The Raven
    Invisible Ray
    Dr. Gogol (in Mad Love)

    My choice, The Invisible Man.

Frankenstein, he seemed "misunderstood" but it was a serial killer's brain they used...

I always thought Frankenstein's motives were pretty well understood. Those of his monster on the other hand... :D

BTW, my nick says it all...

As a kid, I was nuts over Godzilla.

So it would have to be Godzilla, hands down.

The Creature. He had passion and just wanted to do his thing and be left alone. Then humans fucked with him and his environment, then ultimately changed him. Silly humans.

I would have to go with Thw Creature from the Black Lagoon also followed by the Wolfman. I never cared much for Dracula but Frankenstein was ok.

I should have mention classic horror monster before 1950... I completely forgot I wrote this thread.

I'm not sure, but I wouldn't say the bird in The Giant Claw could be considered a classic monster hehe :eek1: :eek2:

Hey, the movie's a classic, wouldn't discuss it anywhere else. It had a monster... Classic Monster, no matter how silly.
