DON'T, but all of the trailers were great (with exception of Werewolf Women which I found rather disappointing).
I don't know how well it played on the big screen, but that Hobo With a Shotgun trailer was kinda mediocre. A lot of it looked VERY modern and current. But I dug the voiceover, especially when he really gets into it...."HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN!!!!!!!!!!!"
Same order for me.
loved MACHETE and THANKSGIVING but DON'T had me laughing the whole way through.DON'T see this movie...... my favorite line in MACHETE was "Where are my wife and daughter?" by Jeff Fahey, followed by the vastly under appreciated Danny Trejo in a threesome with said women, "He gets the girls."
Werewolf Women of the SS
my favourite was not part of the film...I just love the concept of a hobo with a shotgun righting wrongs
Though I must say, even though I knew it was coming, Nicolas Cage as Fu Manchu literally had me laughing my ass off for about 5 minutes straight. Jesus God it was brilliant, in an otherwise mediocre trailer.
5. Werewolf Women Of The SS
That's my list. Didn't get Hobo in the States but I saw it on YouTube. Thought it was alright...
Don't was the best but I did enjoy them all.
Which one was "Hobo with a Shotgun"? Did I miss something???
What about Santa beating off to the "playground". That was the gutsiest moment in GRINDHOUSE, IMO.
I really loved them all. They all worked to do what they accomplished. If I had to pick a favorite, it would have to be Thanksgiving. I loved the feel and Eli got it right on all counts!! Classic slasher trailer feel!
I'm torn between MACHETE and DON'T.I know I would pay to see either of those if they were real films.MACHETE's "they f***ed with the wrong Mexican" line just destroyed me.DON'T was so much like a vintage import trailer though that it really sucked me in.Anybody notice how much the first shot looked like THE LEGEND OF HELL HOUSE ? So much happens in that trailer you really need to see it frame by frame to catch all of the references. The fact that after all of the hard sell repetition of "DON'T !" in the trailer it ended with a completely different voiceover guy just casually saying "Don't" was the perfect final touch.
I voted Thanksgiving. I'd love to see a feature length of this one, even if it is directed by Roth.
Werewolves was an otherwise worthless effort, made worthwhile by Cage's appearance. Rob needs a new casting director, badly.
I didn't get to see Hobo in my theatre, I really wanted to see that one on the big screen. Heck, they should have snagged about 5 or 6 of the best entries to the SXSW festival, and play them with the credits.
I really liked Don't! Exagerrated, quick paced, and felt like trailers of old...Thanksgiving was definitely runner up.
I liked Thanksgiving, but my vote goes to Don't.
lol Werefolf women for sure!
Combined both Isla and Werewolves on wheels so well. It looked so dammed slimy as well, like those icky Euro nazi films of the 80's.
Thanksgiving!!!! (Can't vote for Hobo, wasn't in the theater, otherwise I would have)
Hasn't Rob Zombie proved once and for all that he is a huge HACK. He can't even get a faux trailer right! bad, bad direction (great concept)
