Looks like it's limited to 3,000.. here is the link for Pre-Order...http://www.zavvi.com/blu-ray/the-wicker-man-zavvi-exclusive-limited-edition-steelbook/10793623.html i would jump on it ...already ordered mine !it was pretty cheap..!!
UK sites always play safe when a product is on pre-order and, aside for the confirmation, there are no news about this release.
Better to pre-order it, it´s free to do so... when the official details are available, and if they´re not to your liking then you can cancel it. Better to pre-order something with uncertainty, then to regret it when it´s sold out.
People are freaking out a bit here. There will be a regular release that isn't a steel book as well; It'll be limited to how ever many they can sell.
For what it's worth, the blu-ray.com article does mention a standard Blu-Ray release in addition to the limited edition, Zavvi-exclusive steelbook. The steelbook is also limited to 4,000 copies per the zavvi.com link.
The steelbook looks amazing. There is no way I could settle for a standard release when I know the steelbook is out there. I also have the Wooden Box set for the dvd, still shrink wrapped, so clearly I have a weakness for such gimmicks.
I pre-ordered one of the SteelBooks earlier. I kind of doubt it'll sell out that fast, but it probably will sell out before the release date in October.

I cancelled the SteelBook order at Zavvi quite a while ago. It's worthless beyond the packaging... since it won't even include the 2nd Blu-ray. Why they didn't just axe the "DVD" and include the 2nd Blu-ray is just perplexing.
I ordered the 40th Anniversary Edition from Amazon UK. I hope that's the one that has the 2 BDs and all the pertinent extras.
Yes, that's the full version which includes everything. It's just the SteelBook exclusive from Zavvi that won't even include the 2nd Blu-ray.
I'm guessing they weren't offered both a Blu-ray stand alone and a DVD stand alone option. Since DVD is still a big seller they had to compromise to include one of each.
