Storm of the Century (1999) King's best TV miniseries (IMHO)
Dead of Winter (1987) more of a thriller but still pretty creepy

I'm doing a marathon this winter. So far, I have lined up:

    Ghost Story
    John Carpenter's The Thing
The Curse of the Cat People
    Jack Frost

    The Shining (1980)
    The Nightmare Before Christmas
    Black Christmas
    (1974)
    Silent Night, Deadly Night
    Gremlins
    Don't Open 'Til Christmas (maybe)
"Seasons of Belief" ( Tales from the Darkside )
"And All Through the House" ( Tales From the Crypt )

That's an early list. Still a work in progress....

Ravenous (1999) had some winter. Dead End (2003) took place on Christmas, but there wasn't any snow.
