Finally, I'd given up hope and ended up missing the release date by almost a month! Kadin düsmani, WOMAN DISPISER:
    http://onarfilms.blogspot.com/2009/05/kadin-dusmani-in-factory.html

A genuine TURKISH GIALLO from 1967! At that time, the italians had just started warming up on the genre while their best examples came years later.
This Turkish lost, spooky, misty, gothic giallo horror stands on its own, faithful to itself, quite original in ideas, full of surprises and almost empty as far as "similarities" to other films are concerned! The only surving print was found in very good condition and ONAR FILMS is presenting it in another worldwide premiere.

    FEATURES:
ULTRA-LIMITED EDITION OF 500 numbered copies
Turkish audio with English & Greek subs
    Dolby Digital 2.0
Documentary Turkish Fantastic Cinema - Part 3
    Poster Insert
    Photogallery
    Biographies
    Filmographies
    Trailers

    Order Here: http://onarfilms.com/description.php?iddesc=20

I've just ordered it and can hardly wait for it to come in the mail.

Considering how rare much of Turkey's film output has become this release will have considerable novelty value. It is a shame that all countries (the U.S. included) haven't always taken care of our cinematic legacies. So many films have been lost forever.Great shame.

I read all your one shot threads too. :)

The biggest problem with Onar is that they release in PAL, and he already states that the overseas (ie US) is his biggest customer. I would think he could sell much more if he released in NTSC.

Sounds interesting! Too bad it isn't more widely available.

Hm... That Ekrem Bora seems to have been quite a looker. :)

Okay, I caved and ordered it right away. Partly because it strikes me as deliciously obscure, and partly because Ekrem Bora was fine...

    Thanks Michael.

Question: how come the trailer (on the MD site) is in widescreen? Doesn't look cropped either...

That trailer is not on the Onar Films DVD release, even though the Youtube clip /trailer was uploaded by them. To my eye the trailer looks cropped since the DVD in most of the shots included in the trailer has more information on top and bottom of the frame which is missing in the trailer.
