I was interested in knowing what everyone's worst movie would be. You may only choose one, so pick carefully. And if a lot of people choose the same movie, we can call it the "worst movie of all time!" :D:D:D

My vote goes to Exorcist 2: The Heretic. What a fucking snoozefest. :sleepy:

    The Crush.

I don't know. There are too many bad movies. Right now I'm seriously hating House of 1k Corpses. What a waste of $3.50.

I thought HO1kC was funny, and very original (well, as original as a "stranded motorist" film can get) and I loved the use of video filters. Captain Spaulding was hilarious, in fact, check out my signature. Well, I guess no movie is a hit with EVERYONE.

anyway, I would say for worst movie, The Omen! BUTT-ASS HORRIBLE. :D

If I want funny, I'll watch Strange Brew or Animal House or something.

I like my horror movies to be scary....like say.......The Omen

Without going to obvious crap movies like Manos The Hands of Fate or something, I'll go with a movie that tried to be good, but was an absolute shit-fest from opening frame to the closing credits: Armageddon

I knew you would say that. You should be banned for even THINKING that. :D

EDIT: Maybe a second viewing might help?

Certainly not the worst movie ever made but one I REALLY hate...

Army of Darkness. Not only was this one a huge disappointment compared to Evil Dead 1 & 2 but I will never understand why it has such a huge following?

I thought it was good, but not good enough to warrant a DVD purchase.

I changed my mind. Evil Dead 1 & 2 are the worst movies ever made. I will admit that I liked one thing about House of 1000 Corpses... the tunnel scene was set up really nice. Other than that it was an awful movie (the worst horror film to get a theatrical release in the past 10 years in my opinion). It took two nights to watch it. The first night I stopped it mid-way and screamed "FUCK I CAN'T TAKE THIS ANYMORE." The second night my boyfriend and I finished it out of boredom. It didn't improve at all. :sleepy:

WHAT THE FUCK!!! THESE ARE MY FAVORITE MOVIES OF ALL TIME!!! HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT!?!?!?!? THESE ARE GREAT MOVIES! YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED! I WOULD SAY THAT EVIL DEAD 2 IS THE ONLY MOVIE THAT IS AS GOOD AS ALL THE HYPE MAKES IT OUT TO BE!

I don't think AOD wasn't meant to be a horror movie, it was more of a slapstick comedy/adventure movie. I didn't like it the first time, because I expected it to be scary, but after a repeat viewing with different expectations, I really liked it. Sure it may not be on my top movies of all time (ED2 being #1 and ED1 being #2) but it was still really good.

I should have just edited, but what the hell...
I don't think the Omen was really the worst movie ever, I just couldn't think of what was, so I spit out the first bad movie that came to mind. (and with you starting the thread...) Maybe it deserves another viewing, I will try. I am sure you will eventually find out if my opinion changes or not.

Yup, a second viewing might definitely help. I almost thought it was boring the first time I saw it, but on second viewing I learned to love it. It might not have much action, but it sure is fucking creepy and you've got to love Lee Remick and Gregory Peck. ;)

I can say it because they're your favorite movies and my least favorite.

Sure, I could take an easy mess, like say INVASION OF THE BLOOD FARMERS, and point out all its low-budget flaws. However, to me, I consider a film to be more of a waste when it HAS the budget and the resources and STILL falls flat on its face:

Even with low-budget flaws, this movie rocks. But I agree with the sentiment.
