Had to go OTHER because such a thread can't go by without someone mentioning Boogey Man 2.

I went with that one too. Great idea for a movie but done so awfully wrong. I do have the NY skyline poster for it though cause that poster just kicks ass.

Suprised that Halloween III or one of the many Children of the Corn movies aren't mentioned by anyone here.

That is a great poster. Actually this terrible movie had two great posters. The first showed Jason cutting through the I LOVE NY sign with a machete. It was recalled after complaints from companies involved in New York tourism.

    Noooooooo!

Freddy's Dead is GOLD, I tell ya! GOLD!

I actually think Halloween III hating is passé on this board. Though why I can't understand. I thought it was terribly boring. Let's start hating it again! :)

    Sleepaway Camp 2 and 3 - what a disaster!

Other crap - all the Silent Night Deadly Night sequels, Demons 2 and 3, and Blair Witch 2! Oh, Blair Witch 2, what were they thinking?

Jason X is pretty lame too. Outter space? Oh brother. But Part 8 was definitely hurtin too. I was very forgiving throughout the entire movie, but when he turned back into a little kid I was pissed.

Oh yeah, how could I forget. While not a horror movie, Caddyshack 2 might be the WORST sequel of all time across all genres.

Would anyone consider Fright Night 2 "awful" in any degree?

I think it is a decent flick by any standard.

HALLOWEEN 5 was piss poor, from the slack suspense scenes to the ''funny'' music when the police popped up,to the infamous cowboy boots man.I payed to see it and I should have walked out.Dreadful.

Other : Blair Witch 2 for me. There are a lot of crappy sequels, but this has gotta be the worst when compared with how good the first one was (if you actually liked the first one of course - but let's not open that debate again).

Blair Witch 2 works for me, but I try not to compare it to the first.

I would classify Fright Night 2 as awful, yes, definitely.

I couldn't even laugh at how shitty "Troll 2" was. At least some of the others were mildly entertaining (and really, who hasn't sat through the "The Howling II" just to watch the end credits? Over, and over, and over again...). But I admit, Halloween 5 just plain pissed me off with the Keystone Kops sequence, and the only saving grace for "Blair Witch 2" was nekkid chicks (Erica Leehersen is hawt).

The Hills Have Eyes 2 (original): primarily because of the dog's flashback. WTF???

I enjoy most of the listed titles (and quite a few of the "Other" nominations) simply because of their nostalgic qualities for me, personally. THE RING 2, on the other hand......

    I can't decide!

There's too many bad sequels out there. If I was forced to choose, it would have to be Jason Goes To Hell. At least part 8 (My least fave back then. I still hate that fuckin' ending.) has Jason in it... This one has body jumping nonsense. Some of the gore was pretty cool though... It's still an insult to Friday the 13th fans. Different doesn't always mean better.

RING 2 hands down. Of the ones I've seen listed, it's the only one that is unenjoyable on any level.

I've been warned off BOOGEYMAN 2, but I have a feeling if I saw it I would vote for it.
