Count me as mostly disappointed by this year. Black Sabbath and The Haunting (which I admit I need to rewatch- especially in widescreen) were duller than dishwater.

The Birds, on the other hand, was very disturbing when I was a kid and it hasn't dulled since.

The Raven was also a bit of fun.

    Love:

    Castle of Blood
    The Birds
    The Haunting
    Black Sabbath

I also saw Whip and the Body but I remember finding it kind of boring. It needs a rewatch though. Sometimes Bava's movies take a couple times before they click with me. I haven't seen the others.

Oh, forgot The Haunted Palace. I think that's my least favorite Corman/Price/Poe/AIP film. Love Debra Paget though.

haha I know! I have been slowly checking out Hitchcock, but have a long way to go. The other classic I haven't seen yet is Rear Window, which I actually owned on DVD but sold it to pick up the Blu-ray. Unfortunately I haven't grabbed the Blu-ray set yet. I have loved everything I have seen so far though, just waiting for the set to drop a little more. Hopefully a Black Friday deal or something.
