Did anyone watch Yellowjackets? It was very good with some horror elements. I don't want to spoil it. It was renewed for a second season. So those that haven't seen it yet. Perhaps it will be best to start a few weeks before the second season.
They were really banking on a season two, which fortunately they got. That would have been a very frustrating ending if it were cancelled. Good show though. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Oh yeah, it was a blast. The highlight of my TV viewing the last several months. More than enough horror elements to keep you engaged, opening with a teenage girl running for her life in the woods only to fall into a spiked pit and presumably served as dinner (seriously, that's in the first five minutes). And a real gut punch of an ending that's not as spectacular but no less disturbing. So much so that I'm tempted to watch the whole season again solely to see how those two characters interact now (one has a burden that must haunt her every day of her life). Can't wait for season 2. As for the speculation, those who freeze-framed on Jackie's "Movie characters I want to be" list saw that several movies included were made AFTER 1996. The showrunners are saying that was not oversight or accidental. I wonder if that's true, or if someone screwed up creating that prop and now they're backpedaling on it.
