$4.00 for a digital copy on Amazon.
Anyone see it? Reviews look decent.
I saw it when it premiered on SyFy last fall. It's a fun little slasher, maybe hindered by the fact that the events are shown out of order.
It's on Shudder, if you want to do a free trial.
I haven’t seen it, but I’m surprised that you can rent it on amazon considering that it is supposed to be a Shudder exclusive. Just get the free trial if you’re not already a subscriber.
Caught it at a film festival screening last year. While not amazing, it's a fun time waster. Basically The Mask meets Scream by way of the 80s camp slasher.
I watched it last October. Very forgettable. But it was SyFy so I can't say I was disappointed lol Def seen worse but the last half was a chore to get thru if my memory serves me right
Watch it last night. I thought it was lots of fun. Didn't mind the jumping around at all. Not something that has any replay value for me but had fun with it. Recommended!
It's a pretty clever and amusing flick, but I can't see myself revisiting it in the future. Very much a one and done kind of deal.
Yeah, saw it once and like it. Maybe will watch it another 10 years from now. It is a fun enough movie, but not as clever as it tried to be.
I think it's still on my DVR. Or I wanted to make sure I watched it uncut since Syfy cuts stuff on occasion. I'll watch it one day since I believe the best character from Cabin in the Woods is in the movie.
Got the DVD from Walmart. enjoyed the movie but dont think it'll have much replay value.
Do they have it on blu-ray at WalMart?
Nope just DVD for 9.96
I thought it was pretty good and the idea was at least fairly original. It probably could have been better in a few key ways (cinematography, casting, comedy execution) – but it was still a fun time waster.
You Might Be the Killer is one-note, and it hit that note over and over. I liked the structure and the initial question of "Is he or isn't he?" but by the time the curtain is pulled, there is very little charm or inventiveness left. As a vignette in an anthology, sure. As a feature-length film? Oof. This one dragged for me.
I did like the theme song, however, over the credits. "You might be the killlerrrrrrr..." Always enjoy when an artist works the title into the song, ha ha.
I hated this. You think they are going to run with the concept of the title but then they reveal it so early on that the rest of the movie feels pointless, long winded and boring. I didn't even end up finishing it as it was really irritating me and my curiosity was gone.
